An adventure in play is available all Summer for ages 2 – 8.

• Full payment must be made at the time of registration.
• Emergency medical form must be completed prior to the start of Camp.

Discovery Place KIDS-Huntersville is located at 105 Gilead Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.

Park in the Huntersville Town Center Parking Deck — it’s free! — located directly behind the Museum. The Parking Deck is accessible from both Old Statesville and Gilead roads.

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start of Camp. Parents/guardians should escort Campers to the Learning Garden entrance, located between the Parking Deck and the main entrance to the Museum. There will be signs and staff to help you identify the drop off location. Please remember, if your Camper is age 2, then an adult must also participate in the Camp.

The pick-up location is the same as the drop-off location. All adults must present a photo ID when collecting Campers. Only adults listed on the Emergency Medical Form will be authorized to pick up a Camper.

• A nut-free snack and an easy-to-open and close drink bottle.
• Wear comfy clothes that say, "Hey, I’m ready to dance, create, learn and play!

• Cancellation notice of 3 weeks is required for a full refund.
• Programs with low enrollment 3 weeks prior to the start date are subject to cancellation. Minimum enrollment is required to run each Camp. If cancellation occurs, you will be notified and given the opportunity to select another Camp or receive a refund.

Scholarships are available for children needing assistance for Summer Camps at Discovery Place KIDS-Huntersville.* Funding is available for families living in the Huntersville, Cornelius and Davidson communities. Applicants must complete one scholarship application per child, along with a letter of need from a non-family member who is aware of the family’s financial situation. In addition, some form of financial documentation must be provided in order to demonstrate financial need.

Scholarships are provided by a grant from The Peninsula Community Foundation. Applicants are evaluated without regard to race, religion, national origin, sex or physical ability. The resources available are limited and will be awarded to qualified applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.

*Camps for Age 2 w/ Adult are not eligible for scholarships.
